Great aromatic complexity, highlighting its intensity and cleanliness, where ripe red fruit appears in the fore ground, accompanied by black fruit and mineral touches typical of the growing area. Subsequently; aromas typical of aging such as roasted, balsamic and caramelized are subtly assembled.
Macán 2017 is a unique wine, the result of a very difficult year in La Rioja, where frost threatened the vintage. Ripe berries, spice and dried flowers appear on the nose with some liquorice and meat. On the palate there is a mild acidity. Abundant, rounded and rustic tannins. Slightly chewy. Long finish.
